Favorich Agro Private Limited is the largest snack food raw-material manufacturer and supplier, nationally for over 20 years. The company has been supplying various materials and products to manufacturing brands like Kurkure, Cheetos, Takatak, Bingos, Pepsico, Parle, ITC, Britannia, United Breweries, and more for generations. Presently, the company is developing an Industrial Park and promoting the Favorich Mega food park project in Mandya District of Karnataka.
Favorich Mega Food Park is a unique organized industrial cluster model conceptualized by Favorich group to overcome the key constraints faced by the Agro-Food processing industries presently in India. The model is conceived with the farmer community in mind, to provide a market for their produce all the year round and also support and encourage them to produce quality agricultural products. It also gives an opportunity to farmers to use the central processing facility to clean, grade, pack and market their produce directly under a brand for their benefit.
Favorich Mega Food Park is a unique and organized industrial cluster model conceptualized by Favorich group to overcome the key constraints faced by the Agro-Food processing industries presently in India Viz., land acquisition, quality power, water, roads, sewage, logistics facilities and others.
The Mega food park would primarily consist of the following components:
1: BTS - Built-to-suit, Land, MSME
Developing build-to-suit (BTS) properties means meeting the operational and corporate needs of the client. From the site selection to the completion of turnkey and other complex projects, BTS development is an exciting process. It is a specially constructed commercial building to meet the design and physical specifications of the client.
The creation of a client's ideal property helps them to avoid settling for an exciting structure that may not meet their specific requirements and therefore lacks the needed efficiency. Ultimately, this approach helps maximize space and efficiency while reducing long-term costs.
Entrepreneurs looking to set up the industry can avail the opportunity at the Mega food park on a lease-cum-sale basis. The plot that you choose as industrial land is the subject of a thorough assessment. Moreover, the industrial land is large enough for the client's business premises, for parking and storage. We verify all the regulations and laws regarding noise pollution, environmental legislation, etc. to ensure there are no hidden costs incurred.
2: PPC - Primary Processing Centre
All the PPCs located at Nagamangala, Hassan and Chamrajnagara are meant for quality procurement and pre-processing of the vegetable, fruits, and cereal produce by providing facilities for cleaning, sorting, grading, ripening, cold store and warehousing etc. The locations of the PPCs have been strategically selected based on the raw material basket, process-ability of focus produce, sourcing and procurement strategies, and the logistics ease in operations.
3: CPC - Central Processing Centre
The CPC is envisaged to act as the hub of the project and shall have facilities for value addition through processing, storage facilities including cold chain and distribution facilities. The CPC would be supported by three PPCs which would act as the spokes for the CPC. The CPC in the Park will contribute to cluster development by providing the required infrastructure to facilitate the food processing industry in terms of quality production, employment generation, strengthening the backward linkages, and improvement of livelihood conditions.
The factory sheds for Medium, Small, and Micro Enterprises (MSME) in the food park. The plug and play infrastructure will be provided to MSMEs where the entrepreneurs are required to invest in the related plant and machinery to put up a small unit. This is ideal for entrepreneurs looking to test or develop their product at a small but necessary scale for a pilot market that isn't initially capital or operational heavy expenditures.
The mega food park is located at Bannennahalli Village, Bookanakere Hobli, KR Pet Taluk, in the Mandya district of Southern Karnataka. It is conveniently located close to the airport and seaport to transport your products to and fro from local, national and international customers.
