Favorich Bio Pvt Ltd envisaged the exponential growth of bio fuel sector in India and has taken several steps in this direction. The company have signed MOU with Govt of Madhya Pradesh to develop 17500 Acres (5000 Hectors) of agriculture land to grow Jathropa and to produce Bio Fuels and other value added products.
Jatropha Curcas is an inedible energy oil crop that is used as a feedstock in the production of biodiesel. Jatropha Curcas can be grown in arid and marginal land requiring very little water. Favorich has access to large acreages of planted Jatropha Curcas in several states of India as well as nurseries and seed procurement centres.
Jatropha Curcas is therefore a high quality feedstock suitable for biodiesel that is :
